FRESH PRODUCE DONATIONS

Growing Gardens donates produce to shelters, food pantries, charities, and needy homes throughout the community.  During the growing season, we send out a crew of Cultiva youth members to glean unsold produce at the farmer’s market for donation. We also encourage our community gardeners to donate excess produce from their garden to charities that we support. Finally, we are excited to be teaming up with the Longmont YMCA on a one-acre organic vegetable garden and educational site where all of the produce grown is offered to local food pantries and for daily hot meals.
